I created all the background illustrations and the UI art including the HUD (heads-up display) and the auxiliary screens. I animated the character and gameplay movement. I tuned all the gameplay systems. I collaborated with Aligail Hage on the character dialogue and narrative story.

Let's Play
The Dream Escape is a 2D side-scrolling game where the player, Little Girl Olivia (LGO) has to make her way through her personal dream world in order to save her two friends who were captured by The Paralyzer. She'll have to battle her greatest fears along the way , but not to worry! Her friends are always near, guiding LGO through the terrors of The Dream Escape.

Original Concept
I created The Dream Escape based off of a childhood game of pretend I would play with two of my friends of mine in which we would run around our neighborhood fighting evil and saving each other from danger. The personalities for most of the characters are based off of people in my life. Geovano Ibrahim and Olivia Enoch helped me develop the concept and the gameplay for The Dream Escape, and their personalities were used for Mune and Little Girl Olivia, respectively. The character Starr is based off of myself and Kneel the Knight is loosely based off of my brother, Neil Sambhu.
